| Valette's
Walk
An
independent tour revisiting Manchester, back a century ago when
thriving and industrial, and when the French painter Adolphe Valette
depicted distinctive and atmospheric views of the streets. We can
see them and let ourselves imagine... hearing the matt sound on
the cobbles, could you nearly able to smell it!? perhaps best not.
How does the Manchester then compares with today? Not only the story
of a painter but an opportunity to look at the character of a city
shaped from its people...
